This is one of my favorite places to explore in Lincoln! The hyde observatory also offers cool experiences to the public on Saturday nights (i dont know how covid has effected these events but i went to one when i was in a college astronomy class for extra credit). From this part of holmes lake, there is access to a dock and many cool walking trails. It is a lovely area of wilderness and if you're lucky you might see some cool wildlife! It is usually not too busy during mornings and nights as well, which allows for peaceful experiences outside. This is also a great location to watch the fireworks during the fourth of July! 10/10 recommend exploring this area...

Be sure to check out the hours they are open before you go and they said the telescopes are weather dependent, but they still do interesting talks and such. Well...
