Me and my friend went for a hike here in the morning. And as the name of the place, the hike wasn't very pretty as we thought it to be :/ so was a little disappointing. It also took so long to find the trail head- almost like 15-20 mins cz the gps takes you somewhere in the middle of nowhere. So then we looked up closely on maps and ended up going through a entrance which was a farm entrance- where you're not allowed to park. It doesn't even say where you can park, so then the lady at the farm told us to park on the street. After all this finding the parking and entrance, it was difficult to navigate through the trails and finally we reached the peak of this Mt Misery, from where we were supposed to overlook at something pretty- but was nothing there.    Read moreA very nice alternative after being turned away from Walden Pond when you find out dogs aren't allowed there. There's a small handdrawn map at the beginning of the trail toward the right. It marks all the on leash trails and off leash trails as well as spots for your dog to go swimming. Which is awesome because most places don't officially have off leash trails. The trails where it's on leash is clearly marked on the trees. The only problem is that dog owners just have their dogs off leash no matter what trail they're on because they all connect and they don't bother.
