We visited on a Friday morning in mid-June 2025.
We stopped by here first before the visitor center open. There were 2 other cars in the parking lot but it's a long trail so you can stop anywhere and just hike it. This particular spot is probably not the best because there are many facilities and there is very little shade. the lot was crushed gravel and compacted dirt. Not the best for a wheel chair unless you have nice thick tires. That goes for strollers as well.

Read moreThis is a monument on the site of Paul Revere's capture by Brittish troops on that famous morning of April 19th 1775. It is a low circular wall about 2 feet high with an older bronze commemorative plaque and newer signs with descriptions of what happened there. You can find it along the Old Battle Rd path near the visitors center. There is also a capture sight parking lot nearby. It is a nice place for a walk or sit on the low wall and contemplate the birth...
