The Pierce House was the perfect venue for our wedding (8/4/18). First of all, it's absolutely stunning. The house itself is such a beautiful backdrop, and the surrounding gardens and rolling lawns add so much natural beauty. There really isn't a bad place for a picture here! The Pierce House is a very "DIY" venue, but that's what my fiance and I were looking for. I felt like they were very upfront from the beginning about what they would and would not provide - they made it clear that they would basically provide the space and we would provide everything else. This was perfect for us since we wanted freedom in choosing our vendors and didn't want a pre-packaged hotel deal. The only vendor you have to use is their tent rental company (Come Rain or Shine) for the outdoor tent and dance floor, but I found them to be very easy to work with. Nancy, the manager at Pierce House, was very responsive and helpful - we even showed up unannounced one weekend months before our wedding to show the venue to my parents, and Nancy welcomed us and gave us a full tour. Her assistant, Laura, also stepped in to help during the final walkthrough with our caterer. You will need to hire a separate wedding coordinator, but it's nice to have Nancy on hand to answer venue-related questions. Overall, we were very pleased with Pierce House, and our guests were definitely wowed by the house and gardens. It's a great spot!

The Pierce House is, hands down, the most beautiful wedding venue! The home itself, grounds, gardens… everything is gorgeous. Jenn, the venue manager, however- she is what makes this place so incredibly special. Jenn goes above and beyond in every way. The home is breathtaking and a wonderful place to get married! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Pierce House- I would recommend this venue to any couple thinking about getting married there!

The Pierce House is an excellent venue for a wedding. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the house and the grounds were. It is set in a massive, well-kept park. The tent is beautiful, complete with up-lighting and a full paver floor, and the ease of access into the house was very convenient. We would definitely recommend the Pierce House to any couple searching for a venue - especially for DIY couples and weddings with 50 guests or fewer.

My 33 yo son married his beautiful wife here and hosted their reception in mid September. I'll cut to the chase and say that I have three more younger adult children and if they decide to get married I would consider hosting them at Pierce House. The house is beautiful, no questions at all, just gorgeous. According to my son and his wife the coordinator where super pleasant and helpful, delightful to work with

Now here were the negatives. The first being a restriction on the volume of the e DJ. You are restricted to 75dB at the far end of the tent, (tent not included in the price).. 75dB is considered the volume of landscaping equipment as heard from inside a house, I just googled it lol. My DJ literally needed to use a sounds meter app to remain in compliance because he was asked to turn the volume down. In a long tent with a 150 people all acting as sound absorbers meant for some tricky volume tweaking throughout the evening to keep things in compliance and still enjoyable. Here's what gets me, past the tent are some trees followed by an enormous field, then a road then another field. the only houses nearby are down the road across the street on the other side but they are not in the path of the speakers. Given it's acoustic isolation I think this requirement is unnecessary, if I had to guess it's probably imposed by the town I imagine

Their parking lot is lousy and too small

They need more bathrooms. Two bathrooms for up to 150 people after that you need to get Port o Potties. Gross!

Suggestion how about adding a few extra bathrooms to the side of...

Jenn at the Pierce House was one of the first people we met in planning our wedding, and her warmth instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. Between signing our contract and our big day, Jenn’s dedication became even clearer. We were particularly impressed by two things: First, Jenn spearheaded major property improvements, including beautiful landscaping updates, upgrades to the Pierce House kitchen (minimizing our caterer’s equipment needs), and polished repairs to the interior, which made the venue truly shine. Second, she partnered closely with our wedding planner, Allie from CityLux, solving challenges with impressive flexibility. Jenn quickly became a trusted confidant and friend to Allie, something that meant a lot to us.

On the day of our wedding, Jenn’s joy and excitement were evident. It was clear she was fully engaged in the festivities, something we imagine could be rare given how many weddings she manages. When some last-minute challenges came up with our caterer, Jenn worked seamlessly with Allie to handle everything, keeping us blissfully unaware and focused on our celebration. Jenn was truly a dream to work with, and we hope the Town of Lincoln recognizes what a gem they have in her. Because of her, and because of the natural beauty and classic charm of the space, we couldn’t recommend the Pierce House...
