PrairiErth Farm — Attraction in Lincoln

I have been a customer with PrairiErth since their very first Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market. I've also had the privilege to work on the farm. I am amazed by how they are truly 'being the change' that they want to see in the world. They are tireless supporters of other farmers, farmers' markets, and cooperative grocery stores. They not only provide the community with amazing veggies, but they are a source of knowledge about food systems and encourage other community members to get involved in working towards a world where food, and those that work so hard to produce it are valued...

I so appreciate local farms, and their dedication to growing food for the community. Living in the midwest doesn't necessarily mean having access to locally-grown food -- so much of the land is taken up by industrial crops. I love PEF's energy, their drive to succeed in the current market by experimenting with new products and methods of delivery (Choice CSA!), and that they work hard to get their produce in the hands of local restaurants and groceries. My family has enjoyed PrairiErth's vegetables for years, and I can't speak highly enough of the quality of their food AND their passion for the land and environment.
