Lindenhurst Park District — Attraction in Lindenhurst

This park district rocks!! One of my children did their preschool but over zoom due to COVID and the staff was amazing and had little packets for us to pick up every Friday. My other child now goes to in person preschool and he love love loves it. We have also done their tot open gym. The setup is great, So many things to do, big open gym to run around, especially when the weather is not so great. I have also taken yoga classes there before and they are simply fantastic and rejuvenating. They put on so many community events, including live bands right there at the Park district. Miss Lori at the front desk is the nicest and most helpful lady you'll ever meet!! WE LOVE OUR...

I am sitting at the beach watching the staff interact with kids and all I have heard is this one guy saying don’t splash stay on left side of beach and don’t touch each other in the water. Why bother taking them to the beach if they can’t splash? Can he not watch the whole beach? There is no way I would want my kid to be yelled at all day!! Aren’t you suppose to hold hands when doing ring around the posies?...

Great place with a lot of options for kids and weekly activities. Recently seeing a increase in crowds and the village is not able to keep up. You can sign up (and pay) for activities but be careful to ask about who is offering it. Note to Park District: When you have outside providers for activities, please collect feedback from the participants, so that you dont have to read about it online after it is too...
