Nelson Farm — Attraction in Litchfield

My family and I have been going to this pumpkin patch for several years. This year everything felt off from the start for us. We drove 45 minutes, and had a great weather day. We were mixed on if we felt the entrance fee had changed or not ($10 per person). We went in right at opening. Staff was kind of cold, but not rude. The kids played on the various activities and enjoyed them.

The pick your pumpkins wasnt an option this year on the 20th of October. The pumpkins were all rotted, under grown or picked already. We went to the pre selected trailer with a limited pumpkin selection.

We are mixed on if we are going to return next year or attend a different pumpkin...

Our 8 year old came here for a field trip, and said that it'd be fun to go back with the family. The 4 of us came out, 2 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 5. The kids had some fun on the various activities, but were overall not enthused. At $13 a person we had hoped/expected more.
