It used to be a lot less well known and less crowded, which made it a nice spot for a quiet beach walk date for two broke college kids. But I've found over time it's just gotten crazy busy, which isn't bad bc it's a pretty stop, but it does get a little difficult to find parking. If you choose to swim, it is at your own risk, and bc of its proximity to the salt marsh on the point at certain times during the year, you do have to contend with biting greenhead flies which isn't great. But if you don't mind the crowds or fighting for parking its a nice short little beach for a walk or some sea...

Local gem. Lots of updates with break waters added last year. The battle over this "No Dogs" sign has been epic, to say the least. Could the fine print be any smaller? In any case, the history here is fascinating. A small boardwalk and amusement park existed here in the late 1950s or 1960s. Very few photos exist of those days. The old pilings for the boardwalk can still be seen poking through the sand just to the right of the beach entrance. We've loved visiting this beach when we were in NJ for 15 years. Enjoy it and please keep it clean, it's a...

Nice, friendly place to eat. Plenty of parking, food was great, nice menu selections and prices. Server Angela was tops, checked back to see if everything was alright and if I needed anything Pot of coffee, so refills were right on the table. It was crowded, but seated right away. They were short staffed, but handled it efficiently. My complaint, establishment changes an extra 4%, if you pay by credit card. I understand costs are up, and should be adjusted in the price of the menu items. Extra service charges,...

This was my first time visiting Graveling Point Beach, and I was pleasantly surprised. The area is clean and not overcrowded — a welcome break from the hustle of many Jersey Shore spots. I had no trouble finding parking nearby, which made the experience even smoother. What I loved most was how serene it felt — perfect for solo relaxing or a laid-back, fun family day. And that view? Absolutely stunning. I truly hope it stays this calm and doesn't get overrun like other NJ beaches. If you're looking for a laid-back escape, this is it.

Love this little gem of a mini beach nestled at the point of Osborn Island, NJ. It's small enough for nearby residents and convenient when you want to experience a tranquil beach day, a short stroll along the shoreline, an evening of star gazing or just enjoying the beautiful views and surrounding nature. It is also a part of the, Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge. Which is a key migration landing for many seasonal birds. You may also catch sightings of different turtle species as well.
