This park with all the amazing things it has going for it is horrifically lacking toileting facilities. 1 toilet in the women's bathroom is absolutely laughable. This past Sunday with a volleyball tournament and two massive gatherings taking place, there were hundreds of people at the park. The only toilet in the women's bathroom broke and would not flush. People resorted to urinating on the floor where bugs were observed swimming through it to safety. It was complete chaos and totally unsanitary. People should return home with fun memories not a bladder infection. Murray Park sits on the precipice of greatness. It has amazing views, spacious parking lots, large covered gazebos to shelter gatherings of large numbers of people. In addition it has 9 amazing volleyball courts. I didn't do the math, but by the number of parking spaces it looks like there is an ongoing expectation that many human bodies will continue to...

This place offers beautiful sight seeing with picnic benches in the pavilion. However, the pavilion is not well-maintained, and the benches have nails coming out, especially pavilion #7.

If you’re bringing kids, be cautious as there are no fences around, so keep them in a safe distance from the water.

Another drawback is that not all pavilions have play areas with swings and slides nearby. So, if you book pavilion #7 for a picnic or birthday, the play area is quite a distance away.

On the positive side, there are plenty of parking spaces, and trash cans are placed in every corner. However, the restrooms nearby are filthy and lack...

The dog park has the water up and running there now so that's a huge plus..Plenty of new doggie pools for my pup to play and drink from. very large open fenced in area so tons of running room for my German shepherd. Enough tennis balls and sticks to keep any dog occupied for hours. Picnic tables and benches for anyone to rest. Paved walking path to get some laps in if you're looking for a nice walk. Overall very nice pooch park in the city. Plenty of shade and activities in the whole park. If you're furry friend is agile and likes challenges there is some tires and structures to get them...

Enjoyable. Took my dog on a sunny 60+ degree day. Lots if people were out on the running/biking lanes, soccer field, boating on the nearby lake, and tons of people and their furry members at the dog park. The park is well kept. This was my first visit from WLR and, although it's about a 20 min drive depending on traffic, my dog and I will def be visiting again.

The dog park is nice, has a plenty of space for the dogs to play and a hose to water/wash the dogs afterwards. There always seems to be a few homeless people hanging around the other parts of the park, which may make you feel less safe (but they've never really bothered me). Unfortunately there's usually an unsightly amount of litter blowing around too.
