Vacationed summers on Crooked Lake for 10-12 years, in the 90's and early 2000's late July-Early August. The highest praise I can give is that when my son got married, he and his wife spent their first summer vacation together on Crooked Lake, great memories, inland waterway to Indian River, Pizza and "Big Luke's" at Vivio's, good golf courses in the area, easy access to Petoskey & Harbor Springs...just a beautiful area,...

Come to Crooked Lake in the summer and get SWIMMERS ITCH.....UNCONTROLLABLE ITCHING from the duck poop/ snail/ virus life cycle. Dont be tempted to swim here when yer on the bike path. It will mess up yer whole week! I had hives for 3 weeks. Minimal scarring but damned if i didnt wanna doe during the...
