This hike was pretty, but unfortunately a fire had left most of the trees on both sides of the trail scorched. The waterfall itself was cool. I will say that if you plan on doing this hike in the hotter months, do it early. There is NO shade and you will be hit with blazing sun for 90% of the hike since there’s no trees. Also, the hike down to the falls is really steep!

Short hike, but well worth the trip. Trailhead is rather large, and the trail is well marked and easy to follow. The switchbacks at the end of the trail leading down to the falls look worse then they actually are.

At the split with the bridge, keep right. Easy trail for kids and adults. 3 stars for the unfortunate fire that came through the area. I'm sure it will look much better with 10 more years of new growth.

Wow what an amazing hike! Before we even arrived at the trail we saw a black bear and what an amazing site to see!! The morning air was crisp so it made for a good start of the hike cause it sure warmed up quickly. The valley was beautiful and the landscape spoke for itself. Walking over bridges, passing through a stream and walking beside a beautiful little creek. Every step of the way to the falls was breathtaking. A couple furry critters made sure to say hello with chirps and squeaks. Grouse were crossing the paths, a chipmunk let us stop and watch him enjoy his snack. We carried on up the trail and let me tell you getting to the waterfall was worth every step of the way. Descending down to the waterfall area was a little steep and tricky i felt but nonetheless we made it the bottom of the falls safely. We were hiking this with someone who knew the trail and hiked it before so it was all around a fun trail to hike. We all Did a little fishing which turned out to be a lot of fun. Called it day and hiked back to the car. This is a hike worth...

Unfortunately, the trail goes through a recovering part of the mountains. It was obviously burnt to just standing tree trunks. The trunks are mostly rotted now and fallen over. That being said, the trail is easy to follow and gets very steep for the last little bit before the falls. We did see some animal life, so it was worth the hike. The waterfall is interesting but not...
