John L. Kuykendall Arena & Events Center — Attraction in Llano

No help when their electric wasn't strong enough to work in our MH. We were there to see the Eclipse. That didn't happen. We had to turn around and drive 1.5 hours back home. Also, the cost for the arena RV parking, which was used as an overflow of their City RV park, was not discounted because it didn't have sewer as their RV park did. Being charged the same for less service is wrong. They did say on their post that there would be no refunds. No problem. We didn't plan to not go even if the sky was cloudy. But we Had to leave because their electric wouldn't power our slide, which basically Forced us to leave. There were other campers there thar were also Angry for the cost not being discounted for not having sewer and the Arena RV parking was just a large dirt parking lot that had water and electric ( which didn't have enough energy/ power ) and the electrical boxes had doors falling off and looked unsafe and had not maintained. The guy that showed us another ( our 3rd) site did just that and had no knowledge of anything. After he said his couple of sentences twice, he walked off. I wish I had...

Totally love this place - Ray is the greatest and attented to all our needs for last year's LGG ladies bike rally Will see him as we are having it again here, however the name for our rally has changed to Ladies in Leather (Lil') See ya in 35 days Ray and all the staff. Will be in the teepes this go around though. Can't wait all us ladies and their gents are ready and really excited it...

The Grandstand hosted their 1st Majors goat show. It was truly a success and the grounds were absolutely perfect. The arena provided ample space for the many goats and the bleachers were perfect for viewing.
