Harmony Gardens - A SiteOne Company — Attraction in Lochbuie

This is a wonderful nursery but regrettably they are no longer offering any kind of warranty on their plants. Plant warranty is one of the reasons many of us buy from nurseries. This policy change was not communicated when I was purchasing a goodly amount of plant stock this past planting season. I am only giving them a lower rating given the lack of communication about their change in an important policy and no offer to smooth it out such as a discount on replacement plants when I called.

Suggestions: Place signage at checkout and other places within nursery if a major policy such as warranty has changed from the season before. Add note to invoice that plants are not warranted. Train staff to provide information about changes in policies and that plants are no longer warranted prior to purchase and provide a transitional discount program for replacement plants for people who were not advised of the change in the first year after it. I went in and asked for Niko but they told me he was not in, so i figured really anyone could help me. This was not the case. The 2 employees who "helped" me were very rude and impatient. Granted I did arrive 30 minutes before they closed. They gave me short one word answers and I felt very rushed. They didn't want to show me the only 2 trees I asked to see and instead told me to look at a different tree. I felt so pressured and rushed that I purchased this tree that I did not want. Also once the tree was in my truck they did not offer a hand or any sort tie down material. The man just threw it in the back and walked off without a word. We went to Harmony yesterday to look for a nice shade tree for our backyard. Allison helped us right away to find a Maple, and gave us lots of good information for helping our tree thrive. Their crew will be here within a week to plant the tree and they take care of everything needed to plant. Not only was Allison helpful and very fun to work with, but Harmony's inventory is top notch. Every tree looked healthy, was a very good deal for the quality, and you can tell they do well in taking care of their plants before they leave the door. After one visit, we are certain we won't look anywhere else for our future...
