The Piper Aviation Museum is spread across two floors in a building near the Piper Memorial Airport. You enter directly into the gift shop and pay for admission there on the second floor. The museum tour is mostly self-guided, but at times the staff will provide additional details and guide you to the exhibits. The upper floor exhibits are mostly related to the company history, and is probably the least interesting part of the tour. Some full-size planes and military items are also here.

My family and I took a trip to the Piper Aviation Museum and were very impressed by what we saw. They have so much to offer for being a smaller museum. We especially enjoyed the knowledgeable staff. The gentleman that runs the museum was very welcoming and provided a personal tour of the facility for free. He was excited to answer any questions we had about the many aircraft they have on site as well as general history questions. He even allowed us to use their new flight simulator for free (the simulator is outstanding as well). Overall you can tell he has a lot of passion for the museum and the history surrounding it which made the experience for me. I would highly recommend the Piper Aviation museum for anyone interested. You will not be...
