How beautiful! It's a little out of the way but I loved it. Yes I have a fascination with covered bridges but I love this location. Built in 1887 this is the longest covered bridge in Michigan and the St. Joseph River just adds to tge beauty and splendor of an era gone by. Very calming area but the bridge is still used so excercise caution. Of course I had to drive through her just to feel the history & it was fun. Enjoy a walk along the river & take in the picturesque views. Tip...make sure your tank is full since this is a bit remote and roads are subject to closure depending on weather conditions. The only downside is it seems to be very heavily trafficked - we wanted to walk across but with so many cars it proved to be a bit difficult.
