My son's first night at VBS was incredible, and he was thrilled to return the second night. After checking him in, my friend and I realized our kids were in separate classes, so we went to the staff to find a solution. However, the lady started asking me questions about my son's education, specifically whether he had completed pre-K. I replied that he hadn't graduated yet, but would be starting soon. Sadly, she told me my child couldn't continue attending VBS because he was too young. I felt awful having to tell my son he had to leave, especially since he was enjoying himself with the other kids. As we were walking out, the lady told my son with a smile, 'We'll see you next year.' I corrected her, saying that wouldn't be the case. Why would this church's VBS program turn away a child who wants to learn about Jesus just because of his age? It's disheartening to think that they prioritize age restrictions over sharing God's love with children. Doesn't every child deserve the opportunity to experience...

It was kind of hard to sing to the worship without sounding totally off due to all males singing in such a low key. I was sad that the pew we were sitting in didn’t have a connect card, and it wasn’t refilled for the service, even though they had a video welcoming new comers they said to grab one, there wasn’t an opportunity to.
