Built sometime between 1847 and 1874, the Logan Mills Covered Bridge is a beautiful Queen Post construction span that has been lovingly maintained and refurbished to present date. She greets travelers with her canted portals, and spans Fishing Creek approximately 13' above normal water levels. Watching over her from a short distance away is the Logan Mills Grist Mill. Built in 1840 from local stone, she would operate with water diverted from Fishing Creek.

We felt comfortable parking on the mill side of the bridge, but a dog across the street wasn't so sure. It is the only covered bridge in Clinton County, and the drive coming from the south took us on some beautiful country roads. It's a well maintained covered bridge.

Nice little bridge in the middle of nowhere. Old Mill House is still standing, but in disrepair. It'd be nice if they could reno that and make a museum for Clinton County and the area. Little gravel area where we stopped and ate our packed lunch. Posted Private property, but no one bothered us. No amenities nearby, so it's a...
