Camp Beckoning Trails — Attraction in Logan

Camp Beckoning Trails is a tiny Girl Scout Camp that includes Marlie Lodge. A nice small lodge that met our troop needs perfectly. We stayed with our troop of SA scouts this weekend.

There is a small kitchen with a small variety of pots/pans, bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers, and a large open area with a wood fire place.

There are camp mattresses that you can lay out at night for sleeping. We didn’t use it, but there is a nice shelter and fire ring just out back. We did sit out on the front porch and enjoy our coffee!

It’s wonderfully secluded, but near everything. We were 25 minutes away from the Hocking Hills trails. Under 10 minutes away from a grocery when we realized we forgot pancake syrup 🙂.

One challenge was the STEEP grade to get up the gravel driveway- my minivan had to have a running start and no stopping. The showers were also only lukewarm but hey- running water while camping is...

Enjoyed a weekend of GS camping here! Awsome night sign glow, Weather cooperated and was hot-bring power cords and fans! Ample room and bathrooms/kitchen clean, just need more cooking supplies for a larger group-But next to Walmart;)Walked around Hocking Hills and did some kayaking and rock climbing/rappelling,then on the way out went to float Troy for an overnight tent experience on the water! Fun adventures and memories...
