I'm not afraid of the reply from foxes high rock farm but I am reposting my review. Anyone reading this do not be afraid of posting your personal experience. No matter if it's different from everyone else's, I myself grew up on a farm and I know the difference between animals that want attention and animals that do not the retired horses that you claim to be retired should have been retired, they should have not been on display, I'm now going to assume That your so-called petting zoo is a money grab. I never said that your animals were mistreated , and I never said that they were malnutrition, I never made the statement that they did not have a vet come look at them.I never made the statement that they were not loved.I made the statement that I do not understand why this was a PETTING ZOO.There was one donkey and one cow that allowed people to touch them all the other animals would run away or shake you away. If you would like, I can post the things that were said by the children I had with me, including the one that was crying, if you want me to..... Anyone reading this post do not be afraid to go visit petting their amazing. And it gives children a way to see animals that they don't normally get to. If you're going to have it petting zoo make sure your animals want to be petted. There are other petting zoos in the area that we did go to.In our experience was not the same that we had a you're so...

Read moreMy 10 & 8 year old boys love animals and are always asking to go to places where they can interact with them. Fox High Rock Farm did not disappoint! The boys had a blast getting to feed the goats, brush the pigs, and get up close with alpacas & horses. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. While it is a small-ish petting zoo, we stayed for well over 2 hrs and the boys are already asking when they can go back. (Actually, the 8 yr old stated that he wants to work there once he's old enough 😅). Not only did they love the animals, they also played an intense game of giant Jenga in the shelter house. I greatly enjoyed myslef as well, and the price was definitly right for a fun day for those of us on tight budgets. We will...
