Read moreThis is absolutely my favorite park. lots of shade on the trails, lots of space. Great multipurpose path that i can ride my bike on and great for spotting wildlife from time to time, especially near dusk. i usually really like to walk the natural trails on the back lake, but i'm becoming increasingly concerned about running into a poisonous snake. I like snakes, except the poisonous ones. i've only encountered 2 snakes that i know of, at this park, but they were both more recent. 1 swimming in the water where i was about to step, in the trail, at the back lake, where you have to cross the water. that was fall 2016.
