Diana has a gift for bringing a couple’s vision to life with warmth, grace, and a standard of perfection that is rare in the industry. Her communication, attention to detail, and calm presence made the entire planning process a joy.

But what’s often underappreciated in the wedding world is everything that happens behind the scenes to make a venue look effortless—and Foxen Canyon is a masterclass in that. Steve and Diana’s brother work tirelessly, day in and day out, to maintain the ranch in pristine condition. From the majestic longhorns to the charming rose buses to the lovingly restored barn, every inch of the property feels thoughtful and intentional—because it is. Their dedication ensures that on your wedding day, everything is perfect without you even having to think about it.

We celebrated our wedding at Foxen Canyon Ranch last spring, and now, a year later, our guests are still talking about how beautiful and fun it was. From start to finish, it was everything we dreamed of—thanks in large part to the incredible venue and the thoughtful, hands-on care from the owners, Steve and Diane.

The property is perfectly laid out, making the transition between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception feel seamless and exciting. Each space has its own charm, creating a natural flow that kept everyone engaged and comfortable throughout the evening.

As it cooled off later in the night (spring evenings can be brisk!), the fire pits became the go-to hangout spot—for the guests who wanted to relax and chat rather than dance (or just take a break)! It added such a cozy, intimate touch to the evening.

Between my planner and the owners, everything was handled calmly and professionally without a single ounce of stress landing on me, my partner, or our families, even with a few surprises outside of anyone’s control.

One of the highlights was sneaking away in an off-road vehicle with Steve to a breathtaking overlook above the valley. It was the perfect moment of quiet to soak it all in and capture some of our favorite wedding photos.

To be clear, the venue has very common parameters in place for a wedding venue for safety and liability… I appreciated that when it came to transportation to/from the wedding. I was relieved to know my guests could enjoy themselves and safely get back to their hotels without question.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Foxen Canyon Ranch and couldn’t be more thrilled from the event planning side. Foxen Canyon Ranch has thought of everything, making load in and load out a breeze. They have a lot of power in their main areas, which you may not think is a big deal, but it really is! They have a great area for the catering team to easily pull in and unload food. They have tons of included extras- gas fire pits, seating around the fire pits, super green grass, built in bar and back bar and overhead lighting.
