The Neverland Gates — Attraction in Lompoc

I am ❤so extremely lucky to have been a part of Michael Jackson's life. I have never been doing any interviews or tried to make money on his name!!! IT kills me to see how many people that all a sudden TELL MADE UP STORIES ABOUT HOW THEY WERE CLOSE TO MICHAEL!!! I am a great friend of Michael's friends and family today and I have always treated him and his family with respect. I would love to tell you THAT MICHAEL WAS A WONDERFUL MAN. It's a wall and gate (plain brown gates. The ornate golden ones you've seen in pictures were located further on the property and were sold off at auction years ago) Nothing else to see or do here. There are no plaques or displays related to mr. Jackson. You can't see the house from the road. Only the guard house. And no, the security guard won't let you in. You are not allowed to park on the driveway so you have to park on the side of the road. Also, don't write on the wall. That's vandalism. Do yourself a favour and spare yourself...

Giving it 5 stars because oh man, it's an experience! Visited last August, loooong drive from LA but wow the mountains and scenery are amazing! When you get to the gate, you can't see much but just knowing you're at freaking Neverland (gah!) will be enough of a thrill for any MJ fan. Bring a laminated photo/note to leave at the gate if you wish. Also visited Hayvenhurst/Encino and Holmby Hills. Be advised: loooong winding drive into the mountains, make sure your car is prepared, the cell service up...
