Bryn Awel Manor is a stunning venue and it was perfect for our wedding. Mary and Frank are wonderful and easy to work with. They went above and beyond for our event - before, during, and after.
We chose this venue because it offers so many separate spaces. The bride and groom getting-ready-areas are both unique, charming, and spacious. There are several places for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and beautiful photos. The stunning stone barn has two levels, allowing us to have our cocktail hour and main reception in separate spaces. The lower level of the barn also has two outdoor patios.
In terms of event practicalities, the built-in bars are fantastic. Caterers love the catering kitchen. There are so many bathrooms. It worked seamlessly to set up a hotel block in Newark (a 10 minute drive and convenient for shuttle service). Parking is ample. Most importantly for us was that Mary and Frank only book one wedding per weekend, which meant we could easily set things up early on Friday and pick up decorations on Sunday. Mary and Frank had even collected and organized most of our decorations for us by 9 a.m. the next morning.
We had hoped to have an outdoor ceremony, but unfortunately, there was a hurricane and it was unseasonably cold. Mary and Frank did an amazing job setting up our ceremony in the upstairs area and flipping the room to our planned reception layout while we enjoyed our cocktail hour. Both settings were lovely and better than we could have hoped for.
We are so glad we chose Bryn Awel Manor for our wedding. Thank you, Mary and Frank, for helping make our...
Read moreBryn Awel Manor is a breathtaking, beautiful venue spot. I feel so lucky that I was able to get married here. It's family owned and operated by a really really lovely couple, Frank and Mary. I can't say enough great things about these two. They are both so kind, caring and want your special day to be perfect for you. They only do one wedding a weekend which is great - we got to set up the venue on Friday and do our rehearsal - we had the venue all day on Saturday and were able to pick up our decor on Sunday. The photographer was so happy that there were photo opportunities throughout. Our guests could not get over how absolutely stunning the venue is! It was our #1 compliment. We had a wedding at 90 people and both the reception and cocktail hour spaces fit us great. Go visit Bryn Awel Manor - you won't regret it! 10/10 recommend!!
Mary and Frank, thank you both so much for allowing us to have our wedding at your beautiful location. It was the best day of our lives. We couldn't be more happy. Rita and...
Read moreWe had our wedding at Bryn Awel on 8/16/25 and it was an absolute dream! The venue is gorgeous and there are so many picture perfect spots on property for photos. The bridal suite is perfect for getting ready- barstools and tables for the vendors to use, as well as natural light from the sun for more beautiful get-ready pictures. The groom's suite is a perfect hangout spot for the guys to chillax and get ready for the big day. Cocktail and reception areas are beautiful, especially as the sun sets and the lights come on upstairs. While you do have to bring in all your own vendors, that is the value of the rental- your own choices and a half day on Friday and Sunday for set-up/clean-up, and all day Saturday for the wedding. Nothing compares to this! Mary and Frank were super helpful throughout the whole process and we couldn't have asked for...
