If you are looking for a place to get away from traffic and get in touch with nature look no further. I went on a hot Saturday afternoon and the parking was pretty tight, but there was plenty of room on the lake. No motorized boats are allowed so it is peaceful on the water.There is a big system in one area with neat Pitcher Plants that can be seen as well as other big life. There were a pair of loons that seemed pretty well adapted to paddlers. They popped up close to my kayak and obliged a couple of pictures before diving again.
