Come with me to Mack’s Apples in Londonderry New Hampshire!! This is formally known as Moose Hill Orchard, it was a great place for a fall day trip, apple picking, or pumpkin picking. And they have apple cider slushies which were great! 10/10 reccomend!! #applepicking #fall #pumpkinseason #macksapples #fyp

If you’re looking for a fall day out with kids or babies in New Hampshire visit Mack’s Apples in Londonderry!! We spent the morning in the pumpkin patch, picked our own apples, got warm apple cider donuts and tried apple cider slushies! They have the cutest fall setups for pics and a mini kids corn maze! I am writing this review as I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of and bad customer service I received leading up to and the day of my wedding by Mack’s Apples. Ideally, I would have a private conversation with management, but they have proved they have a bad track record at responding to customers when they attempt to contact them. When I first got engaged, I was excited for the opportunity to take our first look and bridal party photos at Macks Apples in Londonderry – local to my venue. I verified on their website the process of requesting photography on their property and completed the steps as directed. I filled out the appropriate documents and sent them to the email listed. I made numerous attempts to contact someone regarding my inquiry for the months leading up to my wedding with no success. Five emails, three calls, and I also stopped by the property three times to speak to someone. During one of my visits, I was able to speak to a woman in the back office regarding my multiple attempts to contact. With a lack of empathy, she shrugged her shoulders and said ā€œWell, if you haven’t heard back, I would just assume you cant take your photos here.ā€ I was shocked that a successful business couldn’t even take the time to respond to multiple requests, even if that response was a no. Finally, after that final visit, I received a response letting me know that I was approved to visit the property the day of my wedding for my wedding photos.

Fast forward to my wedding day three weeks later. We arrive at the property, on a weekday, during the afternoon to take photos for 45 minutes. I would like to add that we are in an empty field, with no customers, no apple trees and away from the pumpkin patch. The location I chose was somewhere typically not used by visitors. I am taking photos in my wedding dress with my new husband and I see a woman speed up in her car, exit her vehicle and she is clearly angry. She starts speaking to my bridal party; I am told she was rude and yelling at them stating it was private property and we could not be there. She then starts calling people on her cellphone while my maid of honor is locating the confirmation email proving that we were approved to be there. The woman stated ā€œwell, management has no knowledge of this.ā€ Its incredibly disheartening to be standing there in your wedding dress, trying to enjoy the moment, watching this exchange take place. There is a way to speak to people respectfully and with a courteous tone, especially working in a customer facing position. I am extremely disappointed in the level of customer service; the way (some) employees speak to people on the property, and just the way everything was handled. We bring our family to Mack’s every year to enjoy the pumpkin patch, the country store and animals – and now I feel like my image of this business is tainted by this horrible experience. I hope management takes action to provide better service to their community...

Been to a lot of apple orchards, fall farms, etc., in multiple states, and this is honestly THE BEST ONE! Here's why - plenty of activities all spread out with plenty of parking, the largest selection of pumpkins, gourds, and apples that I have ever seen - ever color, shape, size, etc. Blown away! They have tons of gift shop items. The apple cider donuts were hot, fresh, and the best ever! You can get a sack of them, unfortunately not individually. They have an ice cream shack with the most flavors and add-ons I've ever seen. I would have loved to try the apple cider Sundae or maple creamee, next time! The fresh apple cider was great, and we sipped on it while we did the U-pick. Our little Halloween bucket was $15 I think. The pumpkin house in the field and hay bale maze were adorable, and they had the largest blow up pumpkin I've ever seen! Check the photos for a list of what is at the three stations. Heads up, while they have portable toilets, they have a real and clean bathroom inside to the right of the ice cream area. I got a fresh whoopie pie to try, and it was great! All staff were friendly and helpful! (Was very crowded, but it was no problem...

Went the third week of September. Many of the groves and cultivars were still off limits which was disappointing. A tractor ride was operating. However, it was 1 tractor and unlike many orchards, it doesn't drop you off at other points of the orchard and pick you back up, it just slowwwwwwly goes around the perimeter of the orchard. I can't emphasize how slow this was. A huge line grew and people fought to get on the ride as it wasn't clear where the que should start. People were just lining up everywhere. It also doesn't have hay, so if that's important to you, go elsewhere for a "hayride." The orchard itself was cute and enjoyed the pumpkin displays / area. The farmstand store was busy, but had a nice selection of goods. There is an ice cream stand that looks popular and some goats for the kids in a pen by the farmstand. There are also picnic tables to sit by the water and eat any treats you might have purchased. There is also a corn maze which we did not do. We did drive by it and it wasn't very clearly marked with signage or an address on the website. Parking lot is very busy with many cars parking on the side of the road and people...
