Things I wish I would have known before visiting. Weekend warning: You have to make a reservation for one hour spot. You cannot get on the inflatables until your reservation time. If there is enough room after your reservation time, you might be able to get on again. Life jackets have to be worn in the water whether you're on the inflatables or not, there is no other option even if you're an adult swimmer. Also a fun fact Life jackets tend to run out on weekends especially for the adults. You have to get out of the water every hour. You can sit on the beach with your feet in the water but you can't go past knee deep for 15 mins. I understand this is to give lifeguards breaks and safety checks. But it's hard to explain to a couple of toddlers and preschoolers why they can't get in the water at the lake. You don't drive up to the lake you have to be shuttled back and forth. There is sand up until you get knee deep and then it silk and lake weeds scratching your legs. So I would wear my water shoes it also helps out with the course. My little ones that are three to five had a blast. My teenagers enjoyed it as well but wish that the blonde life guard that had a power trip. Would learn to chill out with her whistle. They weren't doing anything wrong they were just trying to help take care of the littles.
It's fun to do for an experience but I wouldn't...

Only giving 4 stars because when I read on the website "food and bar" I expected more than the very limited options available. The only food/snack options are pizza, wings (from Hunt Bros Pizza), small bags of chips, and snow cones. The drink options are Pina Colada, Margarita, Bloody Mary, or they have a variety of canned beers/seltzers. You can bring your own cooler with drinks (no alcohol) and food for a $15 fee. Which is a better option in my opinion since one pizza...
Read moreWhat an amazing hidden gem!! Great price for a full lake day of fun. We brought the family, ages 4-65, and we all had a great time. There are rows of reclining chairs and umbrellas to relax, a huge inflatable obstacle course, and a delicious food truck. Up the hill from the lakefront, there is a bar patio with swings by the bar and tons of tables to eat. Speaking of, you can bring your own cooler of food and drinks for a cooler fee. Was such an amazing day and can't...
