Although I can’t say the bridge is attractive, it’s serves the purpose of crossing the junction safely and easily. Here the long trails are favorite bike paths of mine, with beautiful parks as El Dorado Regional and access roads along the way. The path south is uneventful otherwise, tho riders have an extra bonus stop, with the south end at the oceanfront! To the north, there’s some homeless encampments by the river crossover near Walmart and an occasional incursion as pedestrians may inadvertently step into harm’s way. I’d exercise caution by El Dorado Park and under darker overpasses! At the bridge split, the Coyote Creek Path continues north thru an industrial warehouse area, on up towards La Mirada and Santa Fe Springs.
