Probably one of the nicest public beaches I've been to in Cape disappointment. The views are stunning and despite its cove like layout, there is a lot to explore here. It's also a great place to chill while the kids and dogs play. I especially liked all of the driftwood covering the beach. People actively build structures with it, like big Lincoln logs. My son had a blast building a giant beach chair. It's also very friendly for dogs. They must be leashed, but there's nothing sharp and the layout is simple enough that you can leash walk, even over the rocks to the west. This was a really cool little area with interesting looking sand and TREMENDOUS waves that were a sight to see(and hear!).
