Timbers Recreation Area — Attraction in Long Lake Township

Had an amazing hike with the wife. Very easy walk with around the area. Looks like it's very nice place to go swimming, fishing, kayaking and enjoying the views. In the winter time you can do cross country skiing. The wife and I really enjoyed the cedar trees and lake views. I will be coming back to take the kids fishing! There are great hiking loops of different lengths and beautiful views, there are even spots one could swim along the trail and at least one picnic table mid-trail if you wanted to bring along lunch and take a rest.
