there are multiple ways that you can get into the waterfalls. We started near the "Beaver Creek falls" map location in google map and ended from "beaver falls trail-head". we reached the top of the waterfall and it was very beautiful. you can go to the edge of the fall and look down. it was an amazing view (Water level in Aug was not that high so it was safe. Otherwise be careful). If you need to go to the bottom of the fall, then you have to cross the small water stream/river. the water level was up to the ankle level, so wasn't a big deal. But there was a very steep slope somewhat difficult but our kid was able to manage that. this is an amazing hidden place, not many people so good to visit during this COVID pandemic and relax your mind. return-path (Beaver fall train head in google map) was not that...

I'm leaving all of the experience for you with these reviews today. These falls are mouth-agape astounding, flowing over a really large ledge of a Columbia River Basalt flow, sitting atop an earlier flow of columns, which might be atop a streambed as there is a little bit of clay under all of that rock. Neato. Big grotto. Slippery, but you can get behind them & then are left with the choice of falling in the stream or falling on the incredibly slippery rocks you've just come through. Ymmv

Trailhead : the falls trail is to your farthest left if you are facing the ravine/river. All other trails are not the falls. If you are really struggling, that's not the...

Beaver Creek Falls is a nice pitstop on the way to or from Astoria. It's a short jaunt up and down the hillside from the parking lot to the base of the falls. The path is 100% dirt so be prepared for mud during the wet months. The falls have a lovely roar that can be heard before it's seen, there are a few attractive signs to encourage you along the way.

That being said, this is a "local" secret, there's not much for signs guiding you to and from the parking spot, you'll have to do some hunting to find the right path.

There are some natural fallen logs to sit on, but nothing at the falls but wet rock should you decide to spend...

Great spot. Takes about 10 minutes to get to the falls. Little steep be careful. Glass was all over the trail so be careful if you have dogs.
