What a beautiful facility with a poorly managed tennis program. Jo Abel the tennis director for Seminole county needs to be replaced so this park and other ones get a boost with real and attractive tennis programs And consequently more revenue for the county and us taxpayers I wonder who worries about income In the county the population has increased and the lake Sylvan facility has gone down they did send me an Email to confirm the Robin go around 2x and nobody showed up? Feel like a fool driving there through the 6 pm rush hour and waisting my time and gas and 0 exercise!!! Looks like soccer took over and tennis became the 5th wheel let's get and invest in qualified real pro who has some ideas to turn this prime tennis facility Around and make sure u cash in on these non paying guests using our courts there is absolutely no supervision since the office is hidden and remote U need to install some cameras to supervise the courts Ask the new headpro to come up with a marketing plan and a budget It hurts me as a tennis player to see this beautiful place underused Do not depend on the soccer give...
Read moreRented a pavilion for a family event we just had and an upcoming company event. This park is fantastic. Our family had a blast and I'm confident this was the right place to choose for our upcoming event. The staff is absolutely phenomenal! They are super friendly and helpful. Answered all of my questions and walked me all the way through the online booking process even giving great suggestions on which pavilions would suit our needs best for each event. The park and pavilions are well kept and clean! While they don't have electricity, they do have large tables, plenty of seating, trash cans, recycling bins, grills, and nearby water fountains. The bothrooms were also very clean, stocked with antibacterial soap, paper towels, and bathroom tissue. We had one small issue, there was alarm going off on the nearby septic system. It wasn't loud, just a high pitched noise. I called the office and the person I spoke to was out within a few minutes to resolve it. Great park and great customer service. I highly recommend for kids, families, and anyone looking to...
Read moreWe are so bummed that they decided to remove the 2 playgrounds - one for toddlers and one for big kids. The sign said completion date the end of February but as of March 5th there was still caution tape around the unfinished single playground. It is also says for ages 5 thru 12. So where are the little kids supposed to go now? One of the main reasons we moved into this neighborhood was the playground.
Time for an update! The playground was finally opened and is really nice, though there are some terrible insects called litterbugs who visit and are very careless with their trash!
There’s also an exercise area for older kids and adults just a few yards away.
I’ve seen many people having birthday parties right at the playground, and the tables nearby. I don’t know if there’s a charge to do that but there is a charge to reserve the pavilions all around the playground. There’s a nice big restroom facility close by as well, and plenty of parking too. It’s well shaded and comfortable any time...
