When entering the reservation there is a huge parking area. There is a large gazebo with plenty of picnic tables and a playground to the right. This is a great park for walking hiking and biking. You do have to keep a mindful eye out for the bikers, they are going extremely fast. The trail to the Falls is asphalt paved. It's a relatively short walk to the Falls. The trail loops around. If you continue on the path it will go as far as 3 miles. There is also an offshoot trail, Cottonwood which is an out and back. The waterfall Trail is 6/10 of a mile. This trail however is a grass trail. Super wet super muddy. There are some areas that they filled in with some wood chips to help the low spots. They got quite a bit of the loop finished. Since this is such a popular loop they might consider putting wood chips down on the whole loop. The Falls is pretty cool but unfortunately like everything else there are one or two trees that are right in line with the perfect shot. So goes photography in nature. The loop is just under a...

The Days Dam section of the park is beautiful - you can access it through the walking path by the river from Cascade (it's about a half mile walk on a paved path/sidewalk), or via the paved ramp down from the very small parking space up at the top of the hill. The park has two pavilions and several picnic tables, a restroom, power outlets and grills and a little playground as well as tons of open space for running/playing/exploring.

The playground in the area isn't really safe/accessible/usable by little kids - there are climbing features and a slide but no real ladder or safety features. Probably wouldn't advise bringing your toddlers here if you're wanting a playground for them to run around on, but it's beautiful for gatherings in temperate weather and for walking...

Beautiful clean environment. The trails are really nice to walk and just look at nature. Everything was surprisingly clean, very very little litter which is absolutely awesome.

There is a privation with quite a bit of picnic tables if you wanted to sit down in the shade and eat. There is also a play ground right next to it so small children can play.

There are cement pathways for you to walk on that are in perfect condition for the main trail. Then there are trails that branch off of that that are just normal ground. The trail for the waterfall is woodchips and then it goes to natures ground so it can get a bit muddy in some spots.

It was a wonderful time to just walk around and...

So secluded. It is not hard to get to and u feel like explorers going back in there. There is a well beaten path off the waterfall loop. It was a bit muddy & narrow. But so worth it to go back so you can see falls closer. Lots of mosquitoes wear bug spray. It seems dependent on rainfall. But it was very tall & despite recent lack of rain, still flowing great. Lots of beautiful flowers blooming In this park & we saw a fuzzy Caterpillar so not sure if it fully one color what that means about the upcoming winter weather. Great fall colors on waterfall trail.
