So this was my first haunt since moving to the Youngstown area over a year ago. I'm huge on haunted houses I've literally been to all the larger ones in Ohio especially in Northern Ohio. I was excited to go because I've heard good things. It was cold and as soon as we got there it started to rain but I was still hopeful. The hayride was all right some of the props were cool but some of the actors seem to not care at all. Also I advise sitting on the right side otherwise you won't see much and closer towards the front. The only really good thing was the haunted house and I suggest breaking up your group if you go through so you can get a better experience but I still had people running into us from behind and I wasn't even walking that slow.. the corn maze had a lot of holes meaning that the actors had already left or were in a tent which we seen in the maze probably drinking and smoking pot. A lot of the monsters you could smell alcohol on their breath. If you don't like your job that much you shouldn't do it. People spend their hard earned money on places like this and I feel bad for people that take their families. If you want a good scare and haunt go to factory of terror and Canton they will never let you down and it's...
Read moreWas there a few years ago. I live in Lordstown. At that time they only had the hayride, which was amazing, and the haunted house, also amazing. We went as a large family group and we all had a great time. FYI it is every Friday, Sat, and Sunday nite. They sell tickets on Fri and Sat nite 7-11:30 pm. On Sunday from 7- to 9:30 pm . For the hayride it is 10 bucks, for the hayride and haunted house it is 14 bucks. They have added 2 other features since my last visit. The 3rd attraction is called PSYCHOPATH and the 4th attraction is called FORBIDDEN CORNFIELD. IF you want the hayride, the haunted house AND the Psychopath the cost goes to $20. If you add the 4th attraction Forbidden Cornfield, the cost is $25. Make sure you go after it gets dark. You get a spookier experience and they usually hold up the hay wagons until it is dark anyhow.
We went again tonight. Couldn't talk anyone else to do anything other than the hayride and the haunted house. I am not going to give anything away but I do want to say all 7 of us had a great time. Our ages ran from early 30s to early 60s and we all came away from it with our hearts racing and everyone laughing. Come and give it a try, I am sure you will have...
Read moreThere's definitely wasn't what I expected and I will preface this review by saying I did only go on the hayride but I was not super impressed-
I am a bit biased because there was a hayride in Mercer PA that I thought was the best but has been closed for the last several years so we've branched out into Ohio. I've heard a fear for us several times but I had never been here until tonight. I'm not a big fan of walking through the houses so I did not do that tonight. The hayride itself was a pretty comfortable and organized pulled wagon. A lot of their set pieces were pretty cool with neat props. One of the main problems I had was the most scare actors we saw at one area on the hayride were three. Typically most areas only had one scare actor waiting at them which I thought was a little disappointing because a big factor of hayrides is usually that you have several people either walking around or on the hayride itself antagonizing the riders at once. I would probably come here again but I was a little disappointed in the lack of scare actors working in the hayride and found it to be a bit boring...
