First time visiting this place, and my first impression was "wow, this is very nice, beautiful grounds, lots of outdoor sitting area, great music, and can't forget the log home. It was amazing with separate rooms for you to gather with family and friends on those very hot, humid days and even them cold ones too. The wines were good, with a little for everyone's palate.
Now, why just 2 stars? Well that's from the way one of the host treated us, she was extremely rude, made us feel very unwelcome, as if "why you here, what you want, hurry up, you buying or not!" kind of attitude. As someone that has visited many wineries, distilleries, and breweries, I would say, she was the worst I have ever encountered.    Read moreFound what I consider the best place to be on a Saturday afternoon. The grounds are meticulous and atmosphere is relaxing. Wines are great and there is a top notch food truck conveniently parked just a few steps from your table. Music was very relaxing. Everyone working honestly looked like they really enjoyed what they were doing. Owners were a joy to meet. They have taken this property and made it into what I would consider a 5 star winery experience with extra touches of comfort and hospitality for this area. Bring your golf clubs and a few chairs if you want to just hang out a few steps away to enjoy the putting green and driving range. My feeling when we left was I can't wait to go again. The video was taken as we left at closing time and were the last...
Read moreWine tasting at Barn View Winery 🍷 ! Rather than the sweet Muscadine wine you’d typically see in our area, Barn View produces European style wines including Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot, and Rose. We chose to do a tasting which was $12 to sample 5 of their wines and then purchased an individual glass each. You can also buy bottles and enjoy them on their patio or inside. On Saturdays, they have live music and an on site food truck. Great spot to enjoy the afternoon now that the weather is cooler and we will absolutely be back. The owner and staff were very kind and happy to tell us all about the wine production and their estate! Located about 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach...
