South Run Stream Valley Park — Attraction in Lorton

Convenient for the nearby residents, not so much for others. Google map does not lead you to parking area for this park, as a matter of fact, probably no designated parking at all. I was lead into a townhouse community, having to drive around and park on the street outside and walked in. Had to ask around to find the "local access" into the trail itself. Trail is paved for the most part, and we detoured into the stepping stones, but to find out it had no water access (major letdown for my kiddos). Did not get to finish the entire trail in a humid summer day, but for the parts we walked, nothing spectacular other than the fact that it is paved (stroller friendly) and shaded for...

Its a nice little stream trail where many people walk dogs, walk, run, or bike. The stream isn't in great shape but it's still a nice nature area. Heard some barred owls...
