Let’s start with the swap meet itself. Walking through the aisles, I couldn’t help but feel like I was seeing the same things I’ve encountered at countless other swap meets. The selection was generic and repetitive, with nothing that really stood out or grabbed my attention. It’s like everything was just more of the same—clothing, accessories, knick-knacks—all the typical items you’d expect, but nothing that really made me want to open my wallet. In fact, it felt like the vendors were just rotating the same products you’d see at any other swap meet in the area. Unfortunately, it seems like swap meets like this are becoming a dime a dozen. However, what really saved the trip was the food. The food stalls at the Alameda Swap Meet were incredible! From mouthwatering tacos to refreshing aguas frescas, the food alone was worth the visit. Each bite was packed with authentic flavors, and it was clear that the vendors took pride in what they were serving. It was honestly the highlight of the day, and I’d go back just for that. Additionally, the grocery store at the swap meet was a pleasant surprise. It had a wide variety of fresh produce and authentic ingredients that you don’t always find in the big chain supermarkets. For anyone looking to stock up on some quality groceries, it’s definitely worth...

Been a Cali native for 27 years I’ve seen this place grow and fall. It saddens me that such a wonderful place could turn so far away of welcoming. Once a place of unity and diversity. Is now “private property”.

Today at approximately 11am oct 9th 2023 I was told to leave and not conduct business as usual. By no other than a security company referred to as “Legions protective service private security”. What of importance is that these so called “Security” had the audacity to commence a conflict on several clients other than myself. For the same reason/s; after the incident several people who saw the encounter encouraged to seek the office and file a complaint.

Let me just advice. Please. . . Please stay AWAY from this place. It’s really unsafe. The security is ARMED...

The every thing swap meet loaded with merchants galore. Lots to see and this place is packed with street food located mainly on the south side of the swap meet. From exotic birds, tropical/fresh water fish, aquariums and accessories, deep tissue massage, clothes, toys, sundries, medicines, shoes, hand bags, kid back packs, electronics, pro audio, + a gazillion other stuffs. Enjoy a couple pics of our breakfast we had in the main food court.

I went on a Sunday afternoon just looking for deep fried Tacos, and came back to El Diablo Mexican food. I got an order of flautas de pollo, camarones al mojo de ajo and two cuerritos tacos with a coke bottle and agua fresca 🍉. All their food looks amazing on display as they work on yours! Helpful staff, friendly and super quick! They had live performances of imitators. Plenty of things to buy while listening to the live music 🎶.
