Tucked away hiking trail with steep hills. Came here with a friend on a Saturday morning around 10am to hike and while there were a lot of dog walkers (there were at least 6 different ones we ran into), the trails were pretty clear. You share it with mountain bikers. There’s free parking in the residential neighborhood right at the trailhead. Dog-friendly and a lot of them were off-leash. There are certain parts of the trail that are very steep, but you can take an alternate route where it’s longer but more flat. There’s benches randomly interspersed on the trail. At the top, there’s even a newspaper dispenser with absurdist news copies. The drive up was pretty winding but I liked how uncrowded it was.

Went around 5:30AM and had the trail to ourselves! Outstanding views and plenty of exercise, very up and down. Wear proper hiking boots, some of the steeper hills are hard to navigate without. Plenty of trash cans to drop doggy bags in too!

This is a great hike! Plenty of room to distance yourself and the views are amazing! You can choose harder or easier paths depending on your desire.

THIS IS A HIKE PATH NOT A BIKING PATH. There is no such thing as a biking path. You are welcome to use a bike. Not an electrical that I see now a lot or a motor, that happened too. Those are prohibited because of the fire hazard and the speed they move. The trail is for everyone and not regulated, therefore no one is allowed to do 40mph here.

The trail can be closed without prior notification. Sometimes because of fire conditions. Sad that there is no way to know it in advance. Whoever manages the trail is not bothered to let...
