Old Growth Redwoods in Bear Creek — Attraction in Los Gatos

It’s only a few trees - not like the whole grove to go there for. And girth is probably 1/3 of that of Methuselah tree - not even close by magnificence. Otherwise the trail is very decent, round trail took 10 km 13.000 steps. Not exhausting. For the redwoods near city, Purisima trail is more excellent place to see them, but the difficulty and length of the loop is also higher there. Love this trail. The path is pretty much smooth. Didn't need hiking boots. Great for the family. Nature lovers can enjoy the aesthetics of being amongst the redwood trees. The posted warning signs could scare you off, but we totally felt safe. I suggest long sleeves and pants or spray bug repellent. The parking lot can fill up quickly...get...
