Idk what is happening in that casino but I get physically sick every single time I get home. Maybe some people skip the pandemic protocol? But you guys need to sterilize and wipe down those machines more carefully because obviously there’s bacteria and viruses on the surface. It is so gross.
Side note: Will you guys stop manipulating certain machines that certain people are currently playing on, it’s so annoying and tiresome. I’m going to start saving up going to Paragon again. I’m frustrated at the germy environment and the greed of JCPC.

I decided to give this casino another shot after taking a break, hoping luck would be on my side. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. It seems like only a few people win, making it seem like everyone has a chance, but that's not the case (and obviously, a casino wouldn't stay in business if everyone won).
Losing is one thing, but feeling like you're being taken advantage of is another. I've lost at other casinos, but at least they give you a fair shot. Here, it feels unfair, especially when playing bonus rounds at the maximum bet and not winning close to what's expected. How can every slot machine play the same way? It's frustrating to only win less than twenty dollars after betting two to five dollars per spin, especially after free spins.
Sure, some people win jackpots, but I believe it's just to hide the casino's greed. The winners' payouts don't seem to match up with how much the casino takes in.

I took a hiatus away from JCPC. Maybe I’m one of the few who consistently has seen very little return on the slots for the past few years. But I find it more satisfying to save my money than watch it disappear down machines that so obviously are set with a low yield rate. Good luck to everyone else though. lol

It’s best to go to JCPC with no expectations.

I have been contemplating taking a long break away from Jena Choctaw. Recently, I witnessed a man gradually increase his winnings TWICE, surpassing the jackpot amount and ultimately THEN winning more than $10,000. What perplexes me is that his wife was doing the same thing.
It makes me wonder what the secret is behind some players winning constantly, while others, like myself, struggle to make any sort of profit.
For almost five years now, I have not seen a return, and it is becoming increasingly frustrating. The experience is no longer enjoyable.
Although I understand that the casino is in business to make money, continuously taking advantage of patrons is not a wise strategy for retaining long-term business. Perhaps the few who are lucky enough to win frequently will keep Jena Choctaw in business, but the majority of us are fed up.
I am not interested in receiving any new perks in the mail, as it has become clear that it will not make a difference in my chances of winning.
At this point, perhaps I should hand over my money and walk right back out the door. My chance of winning has declined over the last four years; I used to win at least one jackpot per year, but now I barely win anything and leave within thirty minutes to an hour of entering the facility. It's frustrating and annoying to see some patrons turn their less than $20 bucks into a small fortune or a jackpot while others, like myself, try every method imaginable and still remain unsuccessful. It's made worse by gossipy and...
Read moreMy little sister and I were on our way back to Texas from vacationing in Florida last night. I wanted to find a casino on our way back through Louisiana to stop at for a few hours and we happened upon Choctaw Pines. We had only planned to stay for an hour or so but after being there for about 45 minutes, an announcement was made to go to the players club desk if you had a June birthday. I did so as my birthday is on the 20th. I was excited to receive $10 free to play in the machines and a free buffet. I paid for my sister's buffet which was $22 because it was "steak and seafood" night. We were both starving as we hadn't eaten all day so we were super excited and we both LOVE seafood. We proceeded to the buffet cashier where we were given a pager and told we had to wait approximately 35 minutes until a table was ready. I was disappointed right then, and confused because there were tons of tables open and not being used but we waited anyway. We finally received our page that a table was ready but when we followed the hostess in, a table was NOT ready. We followed her around to a dirty table and had to wait 10 additional minutes for someone to show up to clear and clean it off. We saw the waitress come out and grab the tip off of that table but she then disappeared. She didn't clean the table so we waited for the hostess to do it. We proceeded to the buffet line and the food LOOKED good. I got frog legs, stuffed crab, and seafood pasta. I saw a lady grilling some shrimp and handing it to a gentleman and then I asked her for some grilled shrimp also. Expecting her to throw some on the grill....instead she said, (very rudely), "Well, put your plate up here"! She scooped up some grilled COLD shrimp that was sitting in a container by the glass sneeze wall and put it on our plates. It was not warm at all and we don't know how long it had been sitting there yet I watched her hand a plate of freshly grilled shrimp to a gentleman right before us. My sister and I both couldn't believe how rude she was. We proceeded through the line and got some fried shrimp and my sister also got some grilled salmon. Every single thing we put on our plates was cold. I told my sister not to eat the fish as it should be kept warm to be safe to eat. The only decent thing I ate was the frog legs but they were not warm either. The dessert bar had a sign showing they had peach cobbler but they did not have any peach cobbler. We tried some strawberry cheesecake and even that was awful. Needless to say, we left our plates, food and all and headed home hungry and disappointed. I have been to several different casinos with buffets that were amazing. This buffet was terrible and so was the service. I will not be going back to this casino/buffet ever again. It was such a waste of money. The bathrooms also stunk to high heaven. Just an overall terrible experience. Save your money! So...
Read moreI recently visited the Jena Choctaw Pines casino and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The security personnel were incredibly rude and unhelpful, making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable from the moment I arrived. I was waiting for a friend to arrive in the parking lot only to be greeted by a security guard behind my vehicle honking and asking me if I’m coming in??? They have a weird obsession with the parking lot.
The employees were no better, displaying an overall lack of professionalism and courtesy that left a bad taste in my mouth.
To make matters worse, the drink service was abysmal. I had to wait for ages just to get a simple drink, and when I finally did receive one, it was watered down and tasted terrible. What kind of casino does not have a bar open after 10 PM?? I found this completely unacceptable after spending so much money.
And let's not even get started on the payouts. I had high hopes of winning big, but instead, I lost a significant amount of money without even a hint of a decent payout. The odds seemed rigged against me, and I couldn't help but feel like the casino was more interested in taking my money than providing a fair and enjoyable gambling experience.
Overall, I would not recommend Jena Choctaw Pines casino to anyone. The rude security and employees, terrible drink service, and low payouts made for a miserable experience that I would not want to repeat. Save your money and go elsewhere for a more enjoyable gambling experience.
To add insult to injury, the Jena Choctaw Pines casino website boasts about their impressive food and entertainment options, but in reality, these claims could not be further from the truth. The restaurants in the casino close early, which is especially disappointing considering that this is supposed to be a place where people come to have fun and stay up late. I was shocked to find that the restaurants closed well before midnight, leaving me with no options for food when I was hungry.
And as for the so-called entertainment, I found that there was nothing to speak of. The website brags about entertainment but it is non existent. There were no live shows or performances, no music playing in the background, and no fun events to participate in. It was just me, the rude employees, and the low-payout slot machines.
It's frustrating to see a casino that claims to offer so much in terms of food and entertainment, only to fall short on both fronts. If you're looking for a fun and exciting night out, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The Jena Choctaw Pines casino is nothing more than a disappointment, and I regret wasting my time and money on this...
