It's just great to have some sort of a access to nature and the bayou and this is one of the few places I could find. Easy trail, bring boots incase of flooding. It's literally at water level. Really well maintained. Not much parking, but it means not much visitors (the way it's best) anticipated seeing gators, perhaps even in front of our path, but none that day. At least three large banana spiders living on or nearby the trail, make sure to keep an eye out for them and be careful. Water comes up right nearby the trail sometimes, and there will be frogs, large grasshoppers, and watch out for snakes. Plenty of amazing sights and sounds, including songbirds.
