Short trail, nice woods, but HOLY HELL the SPIDERS ARE HUGE!! I'm talking a hundred golden orb weavers. We went first thing in the morning, and I would not make that mistake again. All of the spiders made webs across the trail, and nobody had come before us to knock them down or scare the spiders into a retreat. The beginning of the trail was visible enough to navigate. As the trail progressed the grass was higher and thicker until there was no visible trail. The trail markers are little brown signs that blend into the vegetation. There aren't trail markers on the trees. The entire trail really needs to be maintained, not only the beginning.
