We went for the 4th of July event and it was actually our first time to go here. We were pleased with the area. They had a few things set up in the field for the kids to do while we waited for the fireworks to begin. There was lemonade and kettle corn pop up tents and a small train. The line was really long for the train so my kids didn't get to ride it cause it was time to shut it down by the time it got to us. But the fireworks 🎆🎇 were so beautiful and went on for like 20\25 mins. We were surprised at the length of time they popped them off cause the other events we've attended only go for maybe 15 mins tops. I do recommend PARDS altho I do not know what else there is to do outside of the 4th holiday....
Read moreWife and I saw a post on fishing spots app where a member was posting fish he had caught in their fishing lake in the park. So we had to visit a see for ourselves. We had to park by the Gym and walk about 50 yards to get to the fishing lake. The park is incredibly clean and well kept. We fished for about an hour and caught 4 nice catfish. Fishing is catch and release only. But it was quite relaxing and enjoyable nonetheless. Don't think I would have utilized any of the other amenities at the facility due to health and age. The Staff is friendly and all of the groundskeepers do a fabulous job. Please continue to keep it clean and well kept. The gymnasiums were only a dream back when we started and they have turned out fabulously.
