Wedell-Williams Aviation Museum, was on the old highway 182 years ago, then they moved to Kemper Williams Park, which is where the Saw Mill Festival is hosted, the festival is really nice for kids & adults rides for both & great Cajun food & bands play over the period of the festival, if you visit during the festival you can't leave until you visit Wedell-Williams Aviation Museum, it is really cool the history of the old air plains & there hanging from the ceiling & there also on the floor, they have a plack that tells the story behind how it came about & all the historical paths through out the history of Aviation, just go & visit you will not regret it, & God Bless you all Amen...

It was just plain cool seeing the type of logging equipment used during that era. There are also planes there. Beautiful old planes so well kept I would fly each of them. Great place to visit. I plan on taking my grandson. He loves airplanes like I do, and im sure he will really enjoy...
Read moreA really interesting place focused on early lumber industry in the area, which took far too many trees and killed its own industry as well as the forests, and early days of pushing boundaries of speed and gender in flying. Both sides connected because of the one family that got rich and famous doing both. I only would have liked a little more expansive information and more things to read....
