West Feliciana Parish Parks — Attraction in Louisiana

Since I am a Master Gardener for LSU AgCenter, I was there for a meeting. Besides discussing about prepping the sites for this coming weekend for the festival of the Pilgrimage (everyone should attend ) we were also discussing about the school gardens for 4-H since the weather is warming up & things need to be planted. The other item on our agenda was getting ready for our Spring Stroll of local gardens of folks in St Francisville which will happen the last Saturday in April. This is a must see. It doesn't cost much and the money goes to the school gardens as well as others. Besides the Sport Park, there is a handicap accessible trail and a top quality animal shelter. We are proud of our community & nobody will be disappointed. There are no private schools in West Feliciana because our public schools...

These have got to be some of the best ball fields in the State Well maintained and kept up to high standard home plate on field 3A could have a little better lighting but I've definitely seen worse and they could provide parking for umpires who in general need a place to keep them isolated from the general public and get get geared up but then again when you go here to call a game you don't have rabbit fans who think you're the reason there kids lost the game So that's a plus a big plus I highly recommend if you want to hold a tournament or play Just a game or 2 your not gonna find a better place to do it been calling bal games for years and never had a bad experience here got plenty hotel accommodations lots of great places to eat between...

I love this park because there are so many different things to do for children & adults and they are free. There are batting cages, tennis, pickleball, & basketball courts, soccer, baseball, & open fields, skate park area right by the play ground, hiking & bike trails, archery area, get wet area for the summer heat, a nice size pond, covered picnic areas, and marked walking & bike areas. It is also pet friendly as long as the pets are on leashes. I personally love the hiking trails & the play ground area for my grandchildren.
