We LOVE this park. This park has a special place in my heart. So many trails, so many niches and paths with unexpected loops and turns. You can walk on paved paths or you can walk in more nature, grassy areas. They have so many cute things to explore. Something for everyone. And if you go up the road, there's an observation tower. Would I walk up the steps on a hot day? Absolutely not. But it's pretty 😂 there's also a beautiful wedding venue barn
'At Broadrun park, there's a venerable oak. I'd never heard of that word beforehand.
Venerable is a word to describe wisdom and respect that typically come from the truths of age. Which leads me to say
"Tears of great vulnerability can lead to an ocean of venerability"

Read moreThis park is so awesome we absolutely love it, the splash park and play area are right next to each other but they're also fenced in. Well there's a wooden fence on one side and a very beautiful Stonewall on the other and in between both are these little Gates that an adult at about 5 ft or more could lift a leg and get right over but the the latch is a little more complicated for the little ones so you can just let them play and play and not be worried about them running out into the parking lot or over to the field. There are public restrooms that for being public were pretty clean. The start of the Louisville Loop is right behind the playground, and then there are so many different trails to choose from in that area for hiking and biking. The crowd that shows up tends to be pretty respectful everyone seems to have a very good time it's just such a...
Read moreI was trapped inside this park for hours with no communication from the park rangers. it was literally 9pm and we called the number on the sign for assistance and the guy who answered told us he was at a wedding and no other rangers were available (at 9pm?). He told us he would try to contact the main ranger but then cut off communication with us after that. we called them multiple times and they even started declining our calls. we even found some kids also trapped and also unable to make contact with the rangers. We eventually had to phone a friend at 12am after hours of trying to find some help. This park absolutely doesn’t care for its guests and I advise if you have a family to carefully watch the gate. Once it’s locked, it’s locked and no one will...
