I was sketchy at first with going here. But I'm so glad I did! I had an absolute amazing time! The actors are all on point! Their make up is to die for! The houses all four have their own themes that make them unique! The bars are all very well in theme as well and aren't priced too highly! It was worth the money. Worth the trip. Worth the time. For sure. The first house, asylum has a very adorable British accented straight jacketed little crazy that I loved! And the amount of scares I got in this house shocked my sister who I was with! There are also slides! But if you rather walk down the stairs on the side you can, ALTHOUGH THE STAIRS ARE PROBABLY WORSE THEN THE SLIDES! 😂 There was a cute little girl with pigtails and I think an army jumpsuit on in this house that scared my sister so bad she almost peed 😂 and we admired the crazy med abusers towards the end as well that were hallucinating it seemed, they were on point with the acting, at least we hope it was acting! The second house is my absolute favorite mainly because it is a factory setting itself like it is the heart of the building! And it is just so surreal to me. When you enter this house you are greeted by a lovely, but strict drill Sargent. Who has a real like sized cute and steam punk kinda looking clown manican, AT LEAST WE THOUGHT SHE WAS A MANICAN! This clown named cheeseburger is probably our favorite actor in the entire building! She is so lovely yet so teenage attitude vibey with her headphones on most likely ignoring everyone! Somehow she managed to be IN EVERY SINGLE ROOM IN THIS HOUSE, BEEEEFFFOOOORRREEEE UUUUSSS!!!!!! idk but the energy she gives off is absolutely fantastic and this girls accuracy is dead on! She scared us all the way until the end and then even once more after we left the house! She is definitely dedicated and in my opinion probably deserves a raise! (I can see auras and although she seemed happy and never skipped a beat something wasn't right in her path, and it might have been underpayment! 😂) This house also has one of the best scares I've ever seen in its locker room! And big giant creatures that run out at you from behind a curtain that's terrifying! It's dark maze got me good too whoever was in there fucking with us! And we adored the bungee! It made us both jump but when we seen it was pure art! There's also a VR section that seemed cool but we did opt out in that. The massacre on mahoning house has a homey set up that first room started us off with a surreal setting then had us on our toes! We did not like the it animatronic at all! And the spiders ugh the spiders! It ended with a mirror maze where two cutesy but terrifying clowns had us spinning and threw us out into the line for the last house which is a very epic pirate themed home. The ticket taker was to die for. we didn't care for how dark it was but it def added the creep effect. We loved the swamp and the sea hag drinking was hilarious and beautiful 😍 😍 All in all we will be returning ! 10/10 on our scales! And cheeseburger when we come back we expect nothing less than what we seen this time bc we will have...

Fantastic!!! Highly recommend the fast pass on busy nights, although you miss out on the "professional" photo op and some of the cool decor and characters in the normal line. They did have a ton of photo areas with spooky statues, characters, and black light rooms. They changed almost everything from last year, rearranged and added new things, like a slide! You can now walk between houses and bars, so if you want to go back to a certain bar or dance room, you can!Incredibly fun, There's also an axe throwing and duck pin bowl bar. The Pirate Bar is my all time favorite, the bartender's and decor were great! Before the gift shop they also now have Christmas Brewery and they let local artists set up tables. I'm very excited to make this a yearly tradition now that I know they change things up every year. Easily the funnest and coolest haunted house I've ever been to.
2023 Updated Review: Still amazing!! I haven't been in 5 years and they've completely changed since the last time I came. Well worth the $35 general admission, $5 parking, and 45-60+ minutes of waiting in lines we did on Halloween weekend. If you've got the extra money though I could see the benefit of purchasing the fast pass. They now have 5 themed bars sprinkled throughout - all themed and decorated beautifully and they all had a large drink menu. The bartenders were all really fun too and looked like they were really enjoying themselves. As soon as you go through one haunted house it opens up to a themed bar and/or another line for the next haunting house. All the houses seemed to have changed since the last time I came. The factory is really well planned out with so many cool animatronics and decor. I think the 3rd and 4th haunted houses had the best actors - there were spots throughout all houses though that felt like they were missing actors. But in some of the houses they have really stepped up their fog/light effects - there were a few times it was extremely hard to see - adding to the fear. I'm very excited to come again next year.
2019 Review: So amazing!! We were there for over three hours. The props, decor, and special effects were so cool! The actors did an amazing job, their costumes and makeup were insane! I LOVED the animatrons. There were long lines but the animatrons and decorations made the wait not feel so long. This was the coolest Haunted House I've...
Read moreThe haunted houses themselves were awesome. The attention to detail is incredible and all of the rooms/houses were executed beautifully. Unfortunately, the reason I’m leaving such a low review is because quite a few scare actors used the opportunity of working in a haunted house to be incredibly rude. I don’t find being mean to be scary. I was harassed by a worker before even making it inside. She kept following us and interrupting our conversations to comment on what we were saying. There were also actors commenting on peoples physical appearance to degrade and demean them. I understand the concept of scare actors being “creepy” and following people to be scary but this was completely different. There was no intent to scare or fit into character, only people dressed up with an excuse to be rude. That being said, we didn’t share this experience with every actor we encountered. Most of the scare actors who were inside the haunted houses did an incredible job and really went above and behind to fit into character. We also had issues with spacing as scare actors would block someone’s path for so long that the groups behind them would catch up. This resulted in multiple experiences where we ended up in a congo line of people. There’s nothing scary about walking through a haunted house with 12 other people. I also specifically asked a worker before entering the haunted houses if actors were allowed to touch you. She said that it’s a mutual policy of, you don’t touch them they don’t touch you. I ended up being poked and prodded multiple times in each house. A man with a fake chainsaw repeatedly shoved it into my back as I walked through a hallway. This wasn’t a huge deal to me but I was frustrated that I had gone out of my way to ask about that policy before even going in and the actors didn’t adhere to it. Overall, the Factor of Terror has an incredible set up, bars, haunted houses, and themes but they could stand to work on how scare actors...
