Great loop through a hilly and wooded area with slabs of limestone and creeks running throughout. Moderate to easy, some steeper inclines but the path is well formed. I didn’t really pay attention to the advice that going after a rain fall can make it treacherous in there…I almost went down a few times (see video) and I had good hikers on. Good little workout and some great views. Lots of other trails and outdoor areas around here as...

Limestone Gorge trail was a pretty little scenic hike. Took quite a bit longer than the 28 minutes suggested. I believe the wet slippery terrain on the day that I was there contributed to that. I would love to come back and see the whole park. It is a beautiful place well maintained. No giant waterfall like the picture I saw online that made me come to the...

One of my favs trail wise. It's winding and just long enough. 1.25 miles. Not great for all kids. You will spend 40 mins to an hour if you are just enjoying the views and wildlife. It's not as difficult to hike as the park has it rated. Some of it is up hill, but is really not that much. The incline at it's worst isn't more...

One of my favs trail wise. It's winding and just long enough. 1.25 miles. Not great for all kids. You will spend 40 mins to an hour if you are just enjoying the views and wildlife. It's not as difficult to hike as the park has it rated. Some of it is up hill, but is really not that much. The incline at it's worst isn't more than 30 degrees.
