The park was very beautiful! It's near a lovely neighborhood, and it's a pretty big park! I had just gotten back from buying a bike from Walmart and wanted to take it for a spin, so I made my way down there. There is a concession stand, which was very convenient for me. I'm one to mostly carry cards, but luckily, I had a couple dollars on me. So to anyone who wants to take advantage of it, I'd suggest bringing cash. They don't take card.
Now, this was my first visit to the park, so I'm not sure if this stand is always open. I went on a Sunday and there were a few soccer and baseball games going on. So I would consider that as well. I wish I would have visited on a quieter day, so I could explore the park more, but overall,...

There are some very cool and updated playground stuff here that I've NEVER seen before! I even loved it. Great little spot for parents and kids. Read moreMy kids play baseball/Softball at Prairie Village and occasionally, they will hold a practice here. I absolutely despise driving into Sun Valley. The people that come to this park are horrible about parking in the road and blocking incoming/outgoing traffic. The grass is not well maintained and i always leave with bug bites all over me. The playground is quite nice and well equipped, and they recently upgraded their restrooms, but it is still not worth it for me to willingly...
