Kathleen Johnson Memorial Park — Attraction in Lowell

Love it. Fenced, great equipment, well maintained, plenty of shade, different things for the kids to play on compared with other local parks, accessible and it’s just awesome! My only complaint is that on entering the park last time, my 2 year old was nearly knocked over by a child using the wheelchair accessible ramp to ride his scooter. This kid came flying down and ended up hurting himself, nearly took out my kid with him. Very close call and maybe there needs to be a sign to make something that should be a given, more obvious? This isn’t the parks fault mind you but figured it was worth saying for my kid and anyone else’s....

It’s a beautiful park love how everything is age coordinated. It’s gated clean and safe we have the fire department as neighbors and the police department around the corner. The swings are a huge plus they have the two sitter so parents can swing with your little one. It’s foam floor. There are two playground areas. The trail it’s so open green beautiful and spacious flat surface. Multiple bathroom. It’s not a bad location you have the airport near, fast food restaurants near, pinnacle near...

My 17 month old son LOVES this park!! They have 3 different mommy and me swings, plus a full seat swing and 2 normal swings. They have several interactive objects for the children including a safe "merry go round", a spin chair, a rocker chair, a see-saw with full seats, a boat seat that sways and so much more!!! They also have a disc golf course, a pavilion and restrooms....
