We love this park. There is always so much space to picnic, toss out a blanket and just chill for a few hours. The park is laid out very well with signs to direct you to each specific part of the park. The walking trails along the creek are amazing..i proposed there on the little bridge. There is basketball courts, baseball fields, tennis courts, etc. The bird watching area is my favorite part of the park..the walking trails lead to it or there is parking with a pavilion in that area too. They have a driving range as well that i was unaware of until just recently. there is a dog park for large and small breed dogs..rules are posted outside the fence. Dogs are welcome on all the park areas but must be on a lead if not in the dog park. Huge wooden fun fort for the kids..and other play grounds for kids throughout the park. On the weekends during the summer if you don't like a busy park..i'd avoid this one. there are baseball games, and kayakers over running it. It's a kayaking drop off/pick up point. there is a small boat dock at the bottom of the park for easy access. It's always jammed packed and parking is a pain during peak season. There are multiple porter potties all over the park. Public bathrooms with running water open in the spring..they are located at the wooden fort..and the red barn at the front of the park.

Beautiful park with more to explore than I initially expected. I found a back parking lot by the pavilion to play guitar, which was a perfect spot. Definitely a park Ill return to in the future. Super clean, benches and tables scattered about to enjoy plenty relaxing while taking in the sights.

Awesome park which has it all. A must visit. They have annual events which we have to check out. the Drive was through winding hills and all won't advise during bad weather or after dark if it's your first time here. You can do almost anything here.

We found this nice park when we first moved to the area over 30 years ago. Our 3 active boys LOVED the ‘fun fort’ playground that was originally there and would spend hours playing tag on the playground. When our sons were older, my husband and I would occasionally meet after work at one of the shelters along the creek and eat our take-out Chinese while catching up with how each other’s work day was. We even rented one of the shelters here for our oldest son’s 18th birthday party because there was a sand volleyball court there.

When our grandsons were old enough to take to the playground, we were sad to see that it had been set on fire and was closed down. Recently though I saw they had rebuilt the playground and my grandsons really enjoyed it! Great job...

We were recommended this park by a friend. Absolutely gorgeous area, planety of parking and lots of fun things to do! It looked like there was potentially a wedding right when you first went in the entrance! Also a dog park at the back where we watched lots of dogs run with their owners. We went back to the fun fort and loved it. Between the sand box and the sensory gardens my kiddos were tough to get to leave shortly enough to eat their sandwiches! It was a little busy when we first arrived but then started to slow down the remainder of the day. We had a wonderful time.

Only wish there was a bathroom a little closer to the play area for potty emergencies.

Great...
